Co-directors have more than 50 combined years of experience teaching childbirth classes, attending births and training perinatal professionals. They are committed to your success, and provide resources, encouragement and community that support you every step of the way, from when you initially register, to well into the future as you celebrate your successful career as a childbirth educator.
Their workshops, whether in person or live on Zoom, help you acquire the skills to offer amazing classes, both virtually and in person through hospital programs, as an independent educator or part of a team. Every workshop celebrates diversity and what you bring to the table and focuses on best practice for adult learners. They support you as you gain confidence, prepare for the certification exam and teach families in your community. They celebrate your victories and encourage you to stretch yourself to be the type of educator that families deserve.
From memorable learning activities, to a comprehensive workbook, to extensive resources and support, we have your back as you prepare to become a successful childbirth educator alongside other people who share the same goal. Their ongoing support continues after the workshop ends with community and learning opportunities available for our alum.
They travel to you if you are interested in hosting a workshop in your community or join for an already scheduled Childbirth Education Project online or in person. They also provide an opportunity for midwives and midwifery students to participate in the one-day Fast Track program. More info can be found on the Childbirth Education Project website.
