Early next week is the Lamaze 2021 Advocacy Summit and the final details are all coming together so that registrants from around the world can learn and network in a virtual environment that helps families be able to receive evidence-based care, improving outcomes for parents and babies.
If you are already registered for the Summit, you will want to read these ten tips in order to get the most out of this virtual conference opportunity. If you have not yet registered, you can still do so here, in order to be included in all of the activities.
- Familiarize yourself with the Pathable platform that Lamaze International is using to deliver virtual live and recorded content. Make sure you are able to log in and have kept your password someplace handy.
- Set up your profile, include a headshot and provide some details about yourself so that others with common interests can find you.
- Review the schedule and make note of which presentations you are planning to attend live and which ones you will go back and watch at another time. Add them to your personalized virtual summit agenda in the Pathable platform.
- Check out the other members of the community who are also registered and consider reaching out for some virtual networking opportunities via Pathable.
- Download the app to your mobile device so you can participate from anywhere.
- Remember to share your Summit experience on social media using #Lamaze21
- Make sure attend live or watch the recordings for all the sessions, so you can maximize your continuing education hours, accepted by many perinatal organizations worldwide.
- Have some snacks and drinks nearby, so you can be comfortable during the sessions, and not miss a single second.
- Get ready to learn, discuss and participate in a wide variety of learning topics, all relevant to perinatal professionals.
- Consider how you will change your work with expectant families based on what you learn during this exciting summit opportunity. And then do it! Be the change that families need, to have safe and satisfying birth and early parenting experiences.
See you at the Summit!
